Statement of Purpose: The Online Service Area (OSA) Meeting Services Committee assists existing groups or new groups seeking to join the Online Service Area.
- Committee Duties and Responsibilities

- First point of contact (through the meeting services email ) for Cocaine Anonymous groups wanting to align with the Online Service Area.
- Guides and assists new and existing Cocaine Anonymous groups through the ratification process.
- Updates the webmaster and meeting directory of new and /or changed group information for use by all OSA members .
- Assists new group trusted servants in understanding the OSA service structure and providing related documents as needed.
- Helps OSA group GSR’s get connected to OSA communications platform(s)
- Committee Structure Committee Chair Requirements:

- Has worked the 12 steps

- Working knowledge of the 12 traditions and 12 Concepts, The World Service Manual, The Online Service Area Bylaws and The Online Service Area Service Manual.

Responsibilities:
- Only votes in case of a tie
Teaches the roles and responsibilities required of the chair position to the Vice Chair
- The Chair works in cooperation with the Vice Chair to fulfill the duties listed below:
- Provides a report at each OSA business meeting
Committee Vice Chair
Requirements:
- One (1) year continuous sobriety
- Six (6) months of active online service experience in the Online Service Area (OSA)
- One (1) year commitment
- Has worked the 12 steps
- Working knowledge of the 12 steps and 12 Traditions, The WSM, OSA bylaws and service manual
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for filling in for the Chair position if it becomes unexpectedly vacated
- Responsible for staying up to date on current committee business
- Stays up to date on current committee business
Committee Secretary
Requirements:
- Six (6) months continuous sobriety
- Three (3) months of active online service in C.A.
- One (1) year commitment
Responsibilities:
- Keeps accurate minutes of each OSA meeting services committee meeting, files and distributes an electronic copy of said minutes to all committee members in a timely manner in official OSA platform ( currently groups io )
- General communications throughout OSA Meeting Services
- Maintains contact list of all OSA meeting services positions and the start/end date of their term
- Maintains and distributes a current meeting list for use by all OSA members, including OSA Webmaster, committee chairs, delegates, GSR’s and Board members through OSA platform(s)
- Meeting Services Committee Meetings

- The OSA Meeting Services Committee meetings are governed by the WSM, the 12 Traditions, the 12 Concepts, and Robert’s Rules of Order, superseded only by the OSA Structure, Bylaws, and Standing Rules
- Committee monthly business ends on the 20th of every month.

- OSA Meeting Services shall hold, at minimum, quarterly meetings online at such times decided at the previous OSA Meeting Services meeting, to address, amongst other things:
- Election of committee service Officers
- Secretaries’ report
- Service officer reports
- Old business / New business
- Decisions of major importance
