The Online Service Area of Cocaine Anonymous is happy to provide guidance to our fellowship regarding starting an online meeting. The following information is provided in that spirit of unity and our 1st Tradition.
Starting an Online Meeting in the OSA
The OSA has online and email meetings. To set up an online or email meeting please contact the OSA Meeting Services Committee at meeting.services@ca-online.org
Different Platforms Require Different Needs
Keep in mind that some “free” platforms restrict attendee space and limit meeting length. Suggested online meeting platforms include Zoom, Skype, GoToMeeting, Teams and many others. Groups are free to purchase their own license or can inquire about using a platform operated by the OSA.
For All Online Meetings – In the spirit of Tradition 11 which states “Our public relations policy is based on attraction rather than promotion; we need always maintain personal anonymity at the level of all public media.” It is suggested by the World Service Conference IT Committee to read and/or post the following disclaimer.
